Parked Ports


A Port that shows in Trio, and or STI, Zoom, with the DDD and FOC dates, scheduled 30 days from the original installation date. Cabledata may show the install was completed. This usually means that for some reason the port was not activated on time, and the DDD and FOC dates are automatically pushed out 30 days.  (the amount of days can be less than 30)

 

ORDER IS PARKED - This means that the number is still with previous provider

 


PART I.

·       Name on the Previous Carrier Bill has to match the Name on Cablevision Bill

§       (Any spelling difference could cause porting problem)

·       Address on the Previous Carrier Bill has to match the Address on Cablevision Bill

§       (Any spelling difference could cause porting problem)

·       There are no outstanding Bills from Previous Carrier

·       There are no pending changes with the Previous Carrier

 

 


PART II.

·       Check to see if the customer is using wireline

§       (To check for wireline - check to see where the phone line from the modem connects to)

·       If yes, then setup a 185, T/C for reverse wireline

·       If no, then no T/C is needed

 

 


 

PART III.

Follow Scenario 1 or 2

 

 

Scenario 1

If there is a Change Of Service - COS/WIP Still in Cabledata

 

·       Reschedule it following LEC rules - Leave ticket WIP to TSG LNP

Scenario 2

If there is NO Change Of Service - COS/WIP Still in Cabledata

 

·       See a Lead or Supervisor Immediately to check STI and confirm if the order is Parked or Canceled.  (Information in ZOOM is not 100% accurate.)
